Full support means
For children with no parent and no guardian with the means, the barrier is rarely dramatic. It is a fee, a uniform, a signature, a medical certificate — and nobody to arrange them.
Most organisations working with the elderly can offer sympathy and a phone number. We run the home ourselves — Krushna-Vihar Old Age Home, in Chandkheda, Ahmedabad. Not a partner’s home. Not a referral. Ours.
The residents are people whose families could not or would not keep them, and who had genuinely nowhere left to go. When somebody is admitted, it is for as long as they need it — there is no review date and no month where the funding quietly runs out.
Support means the whole thing: a bed, three meals a day, medicines, clean clothes, medical attention, and staff and volunteers who know every resident by name.

Every resident eats, three times, on a date you choose — a birthday, an anniversary, a punyatithi. We send you photographs from the day itself.
One resident, entirely. Bed, food, medicines, clothing and medical care. You will know their name, and you are welcome to visit them whenever you like.
Twelve months for one resident, settled in one go. Administratively the simplest thing you can do for us, and the version that lets us plan the year with confidence.
You do not forget the first time a resident asks whether you are coming back next week. That question is the entire reason this home exists and not in donations.

A leaked donor list is the single worst thing that can happen to a charitable organisation. We treat your details with the same seriousness we treat the money you give us.
Donation records are retained for the period required under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the applicable trust regulations. Enquiry messages that do not lead to a donation are deleted within 24 months.
Write to us at any time and we will tell you exactly what we hold about you, correct it, or erase it where the law allows. Requests are actioned within 30 days.

Under section 80G, a cash donation above ₹2,000 does not qualify for the donor's tax deduction. For any amount above ₹2,000 please use UPI, bank transfer or cheque so that your deduction is protected.
Monthly giving can be stopped at any time with a single WhatsApp message. No notice period, no questions, no retention calls.

We work with children who cannot give informed consent in the way an adult can. That places a duty on us that goes well beyond what the law requires.
If you have any concern about the conduct of a person representing this foundation, contact the trustees directly using the details on our Contact page. Every report is investigated. No report is dismissed.

We publish an indicative allocation of every ₹100 received on our About page. Programme delivery is always the overwhelming majority. Administration is kept deliberately low because most of our field work is carried out by unpaid volunteers.
If you give towards a named programme, that amount is tracked separately against that programme and reported to you on request.
Any donor may request a summary of how their contribution was applied. We would rather answer an uncomfortable question than lose your trust.
